Tinka’s Closet participated in its first major runway fashion show in November 2009. Amidst some of today’s exceptional designers, Tinka’s left a favorable impression. Participants we spoke to had a renewed appreciation for the stunning fashions presented by this up and coming Boutique. Phones rang off the hook with questions of how to purchase the fabulous styles presented.
The vast array of color and styles was a small representation of the unique finds that Tinka’s Closet has to offer. No longer are women satisfied with follow the trends of the big box stores. Women today have a tendency to want to express their own unique style with no boundaries.
Coming out of the era of what some consider “Barbie-ism”, today’s women have finally grown comfortable with are no longer hiding behind drapes of fabric and dull colors. The partnering of owners Catrina Brown and Carrielle Davidson came about in late 2008. The company hit the ground running with the first major reveal of their new union coming to life at Fashion Walk Orlando 2009. In addition, the company revised its business model to to include distributors.
